Home after a long journey -only to repack

This is a sensation I’m not familiar with. I’m feeling ambivalent (that’s not unfamiliar)…I’ve finished writing and illustrating the seventh Petalwink book and we have sent it off to the publisher. I’m giddy! I’m sad! I’ve been looking forward to this day, promising myself a nap. And this afternoon, the clouds gathered and the rain poured on down…what would be better napping weather?? So, I took my nap. It was nice. But it was just a nap. Now what?

Well, my friends. The true test is now what. I have “unstructured time” and no fewer than eight writing projects, including 2 series and 3 novels. Doesn’t it sound HEAVENLY? And speaking of heavenly, I am well aware that my highest priority is spiritual in nature; checking in with You Know Who to see just what fulfills the best His purpose for me. So add to “giddy” and “sad”: “hopeful” and “ready.”

At the top of the list is finishing the first book in the Fifties Chix series. Have you subscribed to the posts to read the story so far? I’d love your feedback to help me keep going!
